How early to arrive at the airport

How much time you need depends on your flight, airline and how busy the airport is.

What to allow time for

• The check-in and bag-drop closing times set by the airline.
• Security and passport control.
• Getting to the airport and parking.

If you have a connecting flight and checked baggage, check your ticket to see whether your bag will be checked through to your destination.
